Deep beneath Her West Coast willow, I wilt and wallow
And whine as I willingly drown and deluge myself
In Her marshy wine. Her spiced spirits harsh to swallow,
Yet, Her luring Pacific eyes still ensnare myself.
Gagged and bound; Her feverish skin tough like blackened bark.
Her jagged limbs entangle no lucid beholders.
Once more, I am soothed by Her lurid song… a skylark
Pinioning me as my frail forest smolders.
But I lick my wounds clean. Once hysterical and nude,
Now, I tilt my head up at your volatile mind
And weave pitiless poems that you once misconstrued.
I zealously gaze at my bloated body unbind
And float down your brazen bog as I blithely plot out
The hellish narrative to your forthcoming fallout.
