Cougars-
Howdy sports fans! A big congratulations to the Cougars men’s and women’s soccer teams for bringing home gold and silver from ACAC Championship. The men’s team left for Ontario Monday to start their bid for National gold. Check out this weeks print edition of the Reflector for coach Troy Flannery’s thoughts on the win and what the team has left to work on to be successful this week at Seneca College.
Calamities-
Little bit of controversy as far as the Calgary Flames are concerned as the team and their families received H1N1 vaccinations; this coming just before the city of Calgary closed it’s vaccination clinics. The Alberta Government is launching an investigation into the issue. Keep posted, it’s hard to tell where this one will go.

Classics –
The New York Yankees are one win away from taking their 27th world series title. The team hasn’t won the World Series since 2000 but lead the MLB in World Series win with their current 26. Their closest competition is the St. Louis Cardinals with 10 championships. The Yanks meet up with the Phillies for game six tomorrow with “old goats” Pedro Martinez and Andy Pettitte meeting on the mound for a battle of two awesome veteran pitchers.
