Let me first declare that I am in fact a summer fanatic. Let me also declare that I have never worn knickers, let alone attempted to tie them in a knot.

Can you please reframe from mentioning four letter “S” words in your Blog, until at least September? Hearing about the word snow in August is like a slap in the face to a summer fanatic. Similar to the way the “most wonderful time” back to school ad from Staples impacts students.

Summer is so short in this City, learn to love it.

I do want to thank you for helping me come up with a name for my boat. “Snow time like Summer”

I have still not been able to find the words on how incredibly touched I was by Alan Mattson’s presence in my life. But what Jer said is everything I would have tried to write, but no way would it have come out as beautiful as that. Alan was raw talent and I inspire to be half the journalist he already was.
