Teaser alert: That better place is the crypts of Winterfell because Lord Eddard is beheaded by the young King Joffrey Baratheon who surprisingly instructed  Illyn Payne to behead Stark much to the dismay of his mother Queen Cersei of House Lannister.  Starks body was not cutely held in the palm of a mother..it was transported back to Winterfell and was captured by the renegade Beric Dondarriom
