The People’s Person: Warning: do not operate furniture under the influence

After drinking 15 beers, it can be assumed that most people would not even be able to walk, let alone drive.

For 28-year-old Kile Wygle of Ohio, walking was out of the question but driving his homemade motorized bar stool home seemed like the wise choice.

Unfortunately, Wygle didn’t make it home and instead crashed his stool. He then called 911 and was met but the police.

Wygle admitted to drinking 15 beers and told police his stool could reach up to 38 miles per hour.

The police charged him with driving under the influence and driving with a suspended license. Shocking.

I can’t even begin to count the number of times I’ve thought about putting wheels and a motor on my armchair or bed, and I’m so disappointed this genius beat me to it.

Had he not crashed his brilliant invention, this barstool vehicle could become the Segway of trailer parks across America.

My advice for Wygle is keep building these incredible inventions to share with the world. That is of course once he gets his license back. To watch the AP video news story, click here.
