Big Congrats to the Cougars men’s basketball team for winning gold in ACAC play and also the the women’s hockey team for bringing home silver.
Calamities
Alexander Ovechkin is a great hockey player that’s for sure but some of his on-ice antics leave the masses scratching their heads. On the one hand it is nice to see a little creativity in Ovechkins on-ice celebrations but on the other is it too much? Has the young hockey star been knocked on the head one too many times? Check out his celebration show after scoring his 50th….interesting to be sure. I can’t imagine another player doing that kind of show at reaching 50 goals…if Flames captain Jarome Iginla makes it to 50 this season (it could happen people) I’ll be on the edge of my seat waiting to see if he pulls an Ovechkin.
Verdict: Hey, he’s having fun, making millions and has the skill to back his little shows…giver Ovie!
Classics
No classics today, just a case of the completely bizarre – check out this story about a man exercised to death by his younger, transsexual wife. I’m speechless.
